NewAir AH-400 Space Heater Nov 16, 2009 While the heater takes a little time to heat up and provide warmth, it does a fine job for its size and the energy saving benefits.

Great little heater, but the feet are fragile! Oct 19, 2009 I bought this heater for my wife a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, one of the feet broke almost immediately. My wife propped the heater on the broken foot and since she had a hardwood floor it wasn't much of a problem. Now I'm repurposing it for my office, but I have a carpeted floor, and I'm a little more concerned. I did a few internet searches, and I can not locate a Web site for the manufacturer to see about ordering a replacement foot. I did see that there's an identical product marketed under the "Dayton" brand name, but no luck searching there either.
Does anyone know how I can order a replacement foot?

Great safe little heater for small spaces Oct 18, 2009 I bought this heater for use inside a tent for winter camping. And as soon as I get a backup battery pack big enough to run it for 6 hours I'll probably use it for that purpose.
Until then I'll use it to keep the kitchen plumbing (north side of the building) from freezing when I'm off on those winter camping trips I just mentioned.
Good construction, low (adjustable) wattage, compact size, and a tip-over shutoff mechanism that really works.
Good stuff in a small, no fire hazard heater.

Great little heater Mar 21, 2009 Good little 400watt heater. I needed something small with a small footprint and this heater fit the bill. I've also noticed that if it gets knocked over, it turns off automatically. Somehow, it has some kind of sensor in it, if you tip it at all, the power shuts off. So, it's a great little heater that has worked reliably now for probably six months and it has a great fire safety feature.

Great for not blowing circuit Dec 06, 2008 I got one of these a few years ago when I was desperate for a space heater that wouldn't blow the 15 Amp circuit that ran 3.5 of the 4 bedrooms in the creaky 1905 house I was renting with roommates. It really saved my bacon. It can get one 12' x 12' room from 10C to 19C. It's easy to schlep around, and when the rest of the room is freezing you can rest your feet on it. It's perfectly quiet and economical. It's easy to wipe clean if something spills on it or if it gets dusty.
Like a pioneer woman using every bit of the thing, I also found the box it came in made a great desk/table for when I'm sitting on my bed and want a glass of water right to hand.
I'm docking it one star because after three years, one of the little plastic feet it rests on cracked through the center and broke into two pieces. I could still prop it up on the remains of that foot and the other foot, but I did worry a bit about doing bad things to the carpet. Still, I like this heater well enough to want to carve or cast another foot for it someday.
